This might be unpopular but to Darkside and the Wrap-up Show, good job!
If I have any extra time in the week it's cool to listen to and has come a long way. Steve gives Darkside some shit but I think it's all part of his shtick.
Flame away...

Enjoy the regular show but breaking down a show where they break things down is too much for me.
The Shop
I do have to say you can almost feel a little bit of Darkside's soul die every time they play that his little intro segment, but damn it really never stops being funny....
That said, I don't listen to the wrap up show. I don't have time for another podcast so that's one I chose to leave out.
Circles back to how professional this sport wants to be.
As for the wrap up show, definitely not needed for me. If you find it useful, great, but I feel the shows download numbers would be severely skewed due to it being linked to the pulp shows podcast channel.
All good.
Pit Row
I've tried to listen a few times but end up wanting to punch him in the face for some stupid comment.
But I have tried to listen to the Wrap up Show and I just cannot get through one. Not sure why Pulp thinks we need someone to explain the original show to the listeners. It is not like it is intellectually challenging or so in-depth that mere mortals can't understand it. Do we really need someone to break down what they discuss? Darkside seems like a good man and I cringe everytime he calls into Pulp. Steve treats him like shit and belittles him on air constantly. I don't find it funny or entertaining. I wish Darkside the best but I will no be listening to someone explain what I already listened to.
Here is the episode. I've met Luke the interviewer and He is really cool too I'm impressed by both

I don't listen to the wrap up show but he is a good addition on the normal shows.
What I could never wrap my head around is why would I wanna listen to this guy's opinion on the sport? He wasn't a professional racer, mechanic, gear guy etc. I get that he was persistent enough to be given a job that many of us would dream of, but I don't really care to hear what he has to say about the races when there's 10 other industry guys with podcasts that have the knowledge and experience.
That is all. No hate, and it's great he has his own show(motoxpod). I'm just not sure hes the guy to host Pulp content.
- Decades long announcer of multiple series
- Employee of Racer X which is most likely the largest MX media source these days
- MX sports employee (promoter of basically any prominent pro or amateur MX race in America other than SX)
- PulpMX network regular
- Personal friends with most of the industry for decades
Darkside:
- Berm Lord
- Creepy pony
- Super fan
- An ability to take constant ridicule by a group of people he wants to be a part of
Look man, Darkside seems like a nice guy. But I can not figure out his place in the sport other than a fan.
Saying someone has to be a ex pro, mechanic or gear guy to have a valuable opinion is kind of lame. Which is why I brought up Weege as he is none of those things but has a valuable opinion.
It's also kinda lame to state that he takes ridicule and such while also taking your shots as well by saying he has a creepy pony.
While I don't give a fuck about any gear guy, man-friend etc. those guys have a good understanding of what goes on behind the scenes. Isn't the point of listening to Pulp and similar shows to hear the conversations that aren't heard about publicly? I am certain Darkside isn't included in any of that.
