I noticed they built up the landing a bit.

This is one of those events that TV does not do it justice. Ever been out riding and having a friend film you and you just cant wait to get home to watch it. You get home plug it into the TV and it looks way pussified lol

I imagine that "being there" for this event is pretty much mind blowing.

Yeah they said the lip used to be 10 feet and now its 13 or 14, and the landing is also about 5 feet higher.

I totally agree though, standing down at the bottom must be really impressive. 30 feet is 3 stories high already!

What does Tommy Clowers do the rest of the year? Is he a 9 to 5'er somewhere? Some of these other guys you hear about at other freestyle events but Clowers only seems to be at X.

So far this is not so exciting. The last time I remember step up being remotely interesting was when McGrath and Buyten went at it. What was that 5 years ago?

He and Jeff Tliton own a company called TNT Action Sports. They organize freestyle demos across the country and do a lot for charities and stuff.

did you find a stream yet Torco?
I found a couple, but they are making me verify the internet connection and stuff and I don't have the info they are asking for because I'm on my work computer. I'm leaving in 15 minutes or so anyway and I'm sure they will replay it on ESPN2 tonight.........hopefully.
