Where was the track where you rode through a barn?

Any other unique tracks in the Midwest?

Most unique track I’ve heard of in the Mid-West would be MotoLand. Natural sand track. Which I’d say is unique to this area. Never been. Was supposed to go last weekend but my riding partner backed out. Didn’t want to make the journey alone. It’s near LaPorte, IN.

Northern Ohio, Indian & Michigan has a lot of sandy tracks/soil. Haven’t been to MotoLand myself but I’ve got a few buddies who love it

Any locals remember Broken Spokes in New Philadelphia?? I lived in Akron/Canton area for a couple years when I was in middle school... that was the first motocross track I ever rode when I got my CR80.. anyways, here's a cooler story...

Ran into Brock Sellards at MXdN last year... Super nice guy, and is from New Philly.. so I brought up Broken Spokes. Anyone remember the trail that took you up the hill, to the other old school / totally over grown moto track? Remember those two huge ass single rollers (which were legit hill climbs for me as a kid)... Sellards said he hucked them as a double, tapped out on his FMF Honda !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I raced at Broken Spokes a few times when I followed the district 12 ama series. Was an awesome track and I remember swimming in the nice pond they had and riding around the pits on a mini chopper. Was a really nice facility. I do remember the track on top of the hill and being told that Sellards owned it or something but never got to see him ride it.

Motoland is definitely unique. You alternate between two tracks to limit time spent sitting around. It's built on the old Kingsbury ordnance plant. Some of the jumps are buildings that have been buried with sand

I rode there quite a bit in the late 1990's. I rode the upper track as much as I rode the bottom, and yes I remember Brock with his FMF Honda. I could keep him in sight for about 2 turns and a straight Woohoo That track sent me to the hospital more than once Sick

I really wish that track was still open

I have seen quite a few guys huck those two massive tables as a double at broken spokes. That was insane to see in person. Eroc series still races harescrambles there.

I’ve heard of it from my dad, I don’t believe it’s still open.

I was just a spode on a CR80 so you wouldn't know me - but I clearly remember a dude with the last name Bellinger (i think?) who hauled the mail on a YZ250...

I remember going to a Friday night race in '96 or '97 and some poor dude had to be air flighted out of there.. watched him get landed on at the table top right in front of where the main crowd viewing area was. My mother witnessed it too, and never came to a dirt bike track with us again

Western Reserve Motorcycle Club in Salem,OH used to have harescramble races that went through a old house on the property a few years back. It has since been torn down but they still have MX, harescrambles and flat track there.
