Hi mate, any more progress?....

Also, do you have the RAL code of your Flo Yellow frame please? (If it was powder coated?).

Just bought a 2017 KTM 450 and going to have the frame the same as yours!, ordered the Flo Yellow plastics today too.

Hope all is well.

Don't listen to people telling you to lose the spoke wraps. It's a show bike after all! I like it even though I would never ever ride something like that lol

The Correct Yellow code is RAL1021. That will match the plastics. His yellow is not even close, looks horrible in my opinion.

With all the negative comments about his work why would he keep posting on the build? Builds are not restorations or "what would YOU like my bike to look like?" threads. Builds are by definition are 100% personal. Im sure the OP's bike turned out the way he wanted it to and he is enjoying the hell out of it.

Hey, The bike hasnt progressed. I have been so busy it just never got priority. Dont really care about the negative opinions as things will be getting pulled off and put on a whole lot more yet. The whole concept that I was going for I just cant seem to be able to make happen.

I remmember the first time that I noticed a 92" RM at the track and the camo graffics looked insane! Was hopeing to create what I could imagine that a 20-25 year "future" version may have looked like had they released one. The idea was to modernise the graphics a little and complete them in FLO colour over the black plastics.

The biggest issue that i have had is the seat, creating a FLO yellow and purple camo seat seems imposible to get done.
I have thrown attempts by companies in the trash on site, as its not even close.

As for the spoke wraps, spokes are new and black, takes 5 mins to pull them off, just waiting for other colours to come in first before making a decision.

Womdering now if I should have just done a RC replica like the other 5000 people with RM builds. Unless anyone know how print the seat cover colours required to do the job?

Man, this build is epic! Don’t give up on your vision you’ve made it this far! Worst case just get the seat in all black.

Thanks, at this stage I am just keeping an eye on insgram etc. waiting for some FLO yellow seats to start popping up and go to the source.

Hi mate looks unreal, I have a 2002 rm 250 and was wondering what fuel tank you used and shrouds as well I can’t seem to find anything on this, wanting to make it look newer and can you get the neon shrouds to suit this tank as well ?

Sorry for such a late response but IMS offers a true FLO Yellow fuel tank that would match the frame! I think they offer 4 different shades of yellow and your standard white and black! SDK from Australia offer the graphics out there and will work with you for a full custom no charge and the designs are far better then what you can currently buy and i know another company that can make any seat cover color oe design you can imagine! sorry if the bike is complete just wanted to share!
