Not a fan. (not that my 2 cents matter but just saying) Specifically im not a fan of: Black swing arms, spoke skins, frame guards. painted hubs & god damn seal savers. All those things just scream "all hat and no cattle" to me.

I'm not sure why you commented mate? It's an absolute mystery to me unless you are trying to change the world one black swingarm at a time. Anyway, if by "all hat and no cattle" you mean that it looks like its just for show and not a race bike? Then you are a genius, good for you!

Bike looks awesome op, ignore the negative comments....
I like the black with flo front end and a polished alloy tank idea/look. ( that's how I currently have my bike, not an RM though. )
I would throw the polished spoke look in the hat though just because they look so good in the early morning sunlight pushing the bike through the pits etc.

My build of a neglected RM250, pretty short and sweet hopefully
The nice way of saying, "take off the spoke skins, it'll look way better" ?

The bike looks great, but I'm with Sidecar on the spoke skins, it'll look much better without them.

I finally found the company that sells the Alloy fuel tank, it's GMX in England. Addicted to bling had one made for his RM build with RMZ shrouds. Very trick
http://www.gmxradiators.co.uk/cgi-bin/sitewise.pl?act=sect&sterms=&s=52…

Here is his build on thumpertalk, there are no pics anymore because he got kicked off the forum but you can read about his build
http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/1052523-rm-125-ground-up-re-build/

Also DJtroy on thumpertalk built a bitching flo yellow RMZ

XFUN (from Italy) makes this one. They use the RMZ 450 shrouds, which really changes the look of the bike.

Was referring to the bold hero fighting the scourge of black swingarms in our midst. One swingarm, at a time!

Oh , lol. I so wish I even had knowledge of the existence of that ally tank off the self Sad have now committed to a plastic tank. I do have some black and flo RMZ450 shrouds hanging about too.

That is soo sick! Love it
That does look pretty good but yours would look way better cause for mine, with the big alloy frame there's just a little too much yellow..

How hard is it to install the RMZ aluminum tank on a RM? If it's possible that would like very trick IMO. Not sure if I would keep the raw aluminum look or PC it flo yellow
Well considering both RMZ's are preimeter framed bikes and their tanks on the bottom of the tank is flat for the fuel pump id say it's next to Impossible unless you are an incredibly good fabricator to mount that tank on the RM 2 stroke frame due to the single backbone that goes down the center of. the frame still though aluminum tank with the updated RMZ shrouds would look sweet you have my full support on your idea but that one made in Europe would work great that was posted

Trying the black tank and get some yellow out the graphics later. Still working on the brakes. Haven't had a lot of time lately though.
