It has to be Barcia. He always gives everything he has, he likes a challenge, he’s done really well over here before, he’s got a British wife, etc, etc.

I think he’s a bit old school too. He’s tough as nails And will never ever quit.

I’m not hanging off his balls, but he could do it and have success I reckon. He’d also enjoy it.

Whoever goes, it has to be for more than 1 year.

It will take the rider at least half a year to get used to the travel etc.

Tomac would never go, but I think Anderson would do well over there.

I feel the same way. I don't know why any one would want to go over there at all.. I hear the stories of the motogp guys fly into a race area and don't leave the tracks cause they fear for the lives outside track.

Would like to see ama and mxgp be one series worldwide 18 rounds.

Uncle Ronnie.....he will confirm everything stereotype that Euros think about Americans, he’s only missing a gun strapped to his bike to round it all out!

I honestly like this idea. Even though he's made strides in SX the past few years, I'd love to see him concentrate on MX, and I think he would handle the GP hardpack tracks great

Just one mixed-up race. With one heat MXGP normal (top 20 advance and get points for the championship), One heat AMA 450 Normal (Top 20 advance and get points for the championship) and then two heats were the 40 riders go toe to toe on a track like Washougal, Unadilla, ... and the top 20 get points for both championships. So you can get big shake ups with riders from the MXGP and AMA getting into each others championship fights.

And sponsors should swallow their pride and work something out together, because they know deep down inside that such a race will give them more exposure then a full season of normal racing.

Agree that he seems more like an outdoor rider but dude won a 450 supercross last year. Not many people do that.

Barcia on a factory Honda ...

|

Would have to be someone way better at MX than SX and I can’t think of anyone. Alessi back in the day was an obvious pick. Bagget is to good at SX now to be an option. Barcia on form would be cool to see but again an on form Barcia is a podium SX guy. Realistically the under 23 BS rule has one positive, it will attract AMA/US guys to teams IMO.

He's good all around, but I think a full off season of MX training and then racing would put him right in contention.
