They haven't podiumed since the internet was invented, so they live vicariously through other countries. 12th. They finished 12th this year, and based on the sh*t talking on this forum, you'd think they would have won the damn thing. LOL, you guys don't understand how trash talk works. STFU until your country does something of note.

They podium-ed last year.

They act like they won it.

Anyways, team USA will be a threat to win again in France.

I really hope we send our best team that year whoever it may be--and the conditions are dry, we proved we will not be close if not.

We would have finished 3rd in 2014 had Simpsons chain not snapped two laps from the end of the final moto. (That chain effectively gifted Team USA 3rd overall instead)

We came 3rd last year.

We would have been in with a solid shot of the podium this year had Searles engine held on for two more laps of the first moto.

We'll be lucky to win it again for a while, but we're often a podium contender.

Why has this turned into a debate of a woulda coulda shoulda instead of saying what tracks in the US would be good in the future is what exactly this thread is. Please take your bullshit elsewhere in an appropriate thread topic....

I voted other....because I really think Washougal would be a great balance between a GP and a national. BUT.......maybe not? Having that race so late in the year , it might be wise to have it down south a bit.

Lots of good tracks but I voted Glen Helen 1) because of the weather and 2) Colorado is as far west it has been since Budds Creek. And it's a damn good track

It'll be 10 years before we get another MXDN. But we could, should, and used to have Grand Prix's in America every single year. Fans need to show up in order for this to happen again.

Charlotte and Jacksonville seemed to be pretty packed--I wonder why they are not coming this year.

We will. We already have a podium more recently than you, and would've had one on your home turf if it wasn't for a last lap engine failure.

I'll take a team of Anstie, Watson and Simpson at Assen in the sand over anything that any team with the exception of the Netherlands can send

Millville. Hands down. Without a doubt. For sure.

Anyone touting Cali tracks is only doing so because they either 1) want to get the GP riders as out of their comfort level as possible, or 2) wants to plan a vacation to Southern California, rather than Minnesota in October

Potential weather isn't really a consideration for hosting the event in Europe... so no need to do so here. (as someone who was at mxdn this year, trust me I would prefer nice weather too - but I wouldn't say to strategically schedule a race around it)

I could only imagine the parking and traffic shit show trying to leave washougal if they had the same attendance as red bud... and then add in some mud Shocked

It would be really cool to see. I think the FIM and youth stream should make an effort to have MXDN in the USA every 3-5 years and just go down the list of our national tracks on the schedule.

your absolutly right about both points made. That should really be the consideration for holding any race where you want to have a home field advantage. Why would we want a race here gaurenteed to be crappy conditions that WE KNOW they are already great in. As fans we can all agree we would rather see a dry prepped race than a mud/snow slow sloppy track. We got lucky this past weekend that they dumped the sand on the track to somewhat hold the track up a bit, it just completely played into thier strengths and it showed by how easy they were to run away from all of our AMA guys (not just team USA). Additionally, business wise it makes more sence to hold an event with more to offer someone flying across the world to attend vs a mud pit in the middle of nowhere. Granted the die hards will do that anyhow.

Hey guys, as a Canadian I was wondering if it is possible one day that we host a Mxon or is it 100% impossible?
I don't see why it would be 100% impossible. If you have a promoter with enough money and backing then there's no reason why not. I think it's unlikely though
