Anyone know what the recent story is with him? I seen him a few times at Washougal and the dude was freaky fast, and some awesome riding style.

He raced AX one year and the Canadian Nationals, but I believe now he has a real job in construction (or something similar).

I'm being serious... Is he really fast & his brother handed him a wheel borrow full of money so doesn't have to race?

I can't imagine that being the case, but who knows.

Ha! somewhat on the money...I'm sure bro hooked him up with a bike, gave him a place to live and get after it...which he had for at least a season in Canada. The reality is that ship had already sailed and he's another "has been that never was", like only 2 or 3% of this board could even claim.
Fast, Fearless and Fluid...just missing that win at all cost drive his brother and few few others had. So you're right he doesn't have to race...just pay taxes and die like the rest of us moto heads.

He raced arena cross in the UK a couple of years ago, as above good style but was never a threat to win.... Good to see him race though.

The kid has crazy speed..I've seen him hit corners so fast it was unbelievable to watch. Always wondered why he never did much.

While cool, when you see it full speed - completely unnecessary. It looks like a total waste of energy in a race situation.
I hate to ever really bag on pros, but that epitomizes his entire style. I watched him during an open practice at Washougal once, and I got tired just watching him.

Just guessing here, but from what I've seen of him on Instagram and stuff, pro racing isn't his thing. He is fast as hell, but I don't necessarily think that motivates him to do it as a career.

But I don't know and wasted energy or not, he's very fast.

He knows that chasing the MX dream at 26 isn't exactly a sure fire lottery ticket, and I'm gonna go with my motto of "He enjoys riding motorcycles, and not necessarily racing them."

Tyler's had a ton of injuries as well growing up. Both of them have.

I've seen him at the track and around town quite a bit. Seemed to be doing well. Last summer he was riding almost every other weekend with his old man. Guess he does some classes and stuff too.

Hes not racing and you don't see him in the vault because in reality, hes not fast. He can scub sure, but he isn't fast.

Saw him racing a borrowed YZ 490 at a vintage race in January just for fun, and ripping at a practice day at Motowest last fall on a CR 250R. Seems to me like he just enjoys riding, a lot like the rest of us.

We're all now collectively a little bit dumber after reading your opinion. If only I could have the 6 seconds of my life back I took reading it.

If I believed your opinion was fact that would mean I'm fast because I'm in the Vault.

I am not fast.

In the old days of Motocross you had to be fast to be in the vault... You had a short window... not near as many pro-ams
as now...

So, you my friend, are right... You don't have to be fast to be in the Vault these days... Vicki Golden isn't fast enough to make the top 42 in the 250 B class to start the race at Lorettas... but she's in the Vault...

I think that comment is quite dependent on perspective. I'm happy to hear he's still rockin the bike,
