In a way its good that it got done now as his employees have plenty of time to find jobs for next year.

Its been a good run, now lets see if he rides for someone else next year.

Damn! I was hoping he would carry the team for a few years by hiring two riders and Chad just running the show. Kind of like how Geico did with Honda , and being kind of a 2nd Kawi team. I guess that won't be happening.

I wonder if there would be a spot for Reed in any team ... KTM full, Honda full, Kawasaki full (or is Hahn not signed for 2 years?), RCH Suzuki perhaps (but besides Roczen, Reed would be very costly), Yoshimura Suzuki full, Husqvarna perhaps (but with Anderson and perhaps Pourcel it would be quite full as well and money wise it would be costly). JGR Yamaha full (Barcia and Peick signed) ...

He can still win a supercross race at any given time and has proven it time after time. That's better than 90% of the pro riders, I wouldn't consider it a risk

A factory yami team? It's not like he's got a selection to choose from so I don't understand that. I highly doubt JGR wants anything to do with him

i could see him possibly doing another privateer effort aboard a yamaha due to his long stretch and multiple titles with them, but i dont see him landing on a team. the only way i see him on a team is he gets a factory bike and takes a massive pay cut. unless Joe Gibbs feels like gambling

Let me try this again, apparently someone didn't like the terms I used in reference to Stewart that came from his own mouth.

Is Reed still going to do the down under race or will his results from his MRI prevent that?

If he is in for that race he better get some time in on the Yamaha or whatever bike he will be riding and get things sorted out or Stewart will make quick work of him.

I would say yes for grant and Kawi, makes sense. As for chad, I think yamaha has been wanting back in the scene again with factory yamaha. Chad is the perfect rider for them to develope the bike. He gets a good paycheck, brings on his own personal sponsors for more money, developed the bike with sx only contract and yamaha will hire another guy for a 450. Shit his entire crew could end up their!

Well he apparently had a half million dollar sponsor lined up that he can't use because of the series' sponsor, GoPro. That would have gone a long ways to finishing the season.
