That guy is #414 Brian Shuckhart.

You're right about him nearly qualifying on the YZ125. And don't forget that the year before that (2009), he qualified in the Motocross Class at both pro rounds he entered, High Point AND Steel City.

In 2009, he rode an RM250 and finished mid pack except for a flat tire in the second moto at High Point.

He did it on a 2 stroke, and he got very little press and no mentions on TV as would be expected. Fans were going nuts for him though and he won a legion of supporters who now follow his racing more closely.

Check the archives and look at his results for High Point and Steel City 2009. He spent most of each moto advancing forward through the foopers.

Thanks,

Jim

Hope this is gonna happen! It was cool enough seeing a privateer in Salt Lake trying to qualify on his 2 smoker!

As this sport goes broke and into the toilet, guys on smokers should get more attention.

The local ride spot is going back to 2s.

This is good since the neighbors have flat out had it with the noise.........

One more thing, one 4 stroke out there sounds close, a pack of 2s, unless you really listen hard, you dont really hear them, maybe a faint braaaap now and then.

I'm sure its been said many times but one more time will not hurt.

Way to go DV12; thanks for steping outside of the box and good job gaining positive publicity and additional fans...

That would be very misleading as a picture of a steaming pile would surely be construed as a 4-stroke.
