This is actually starting to be very interesting. Competition for Feld is a great thing! Riders getting paid more would be nice.

The competition won't be with Feld, it will be with the nationals. How is that a good thing??
So you’re not in favour of riders getting paid more then ?

So are you in favor of the riders who ride the nationals and MXGPs getting paid less ?

I wasn't aware of a schedule conflict , but if there is , then my bad. I thought these were scheduled in the down time between seasons.

As for WSX-I love this! I hope they would try and compete head to head with Feld. They would take a lot of the more competitive privateers and then SX would be left with a bigger talent disparity than they have now and would loose fans pretty quickly. Then shit will change. Plus I would rather see a sport I can relate to i.e. motocross rather than SX anyway.

Sad part is that the Motocross nationals that "you can relate to" is what is going to take the hit , not SX. the World SX will be running after the US SX series is over and when the nationals are running, could hurt MXGP also.
The World SX series is competing with the AMA SX series not the nationals so far. The only US based team to sign up for the WSX series is Smart top. Because Smart Top only races the AMA SX series this has no effect on the nationals. In saying this I hope that Smart Top races the AMA SX series next year also.

SX Global announced plans for the FIM Supercross World Championship Series, a new international motorcycle racing series with a proposed start date of September, 2022.

The inaugural championship has been designated a ‘pilot’ season of five races running from September through November.

Future plans call for the Supercross World Championship Series to run in late summer and fall after the Monster Energy Supercross Series has ended. Many current supercross riders transition to the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross outdoor championship at the conclusion of the stadium season, when the World Championship is scheduled to compete, while others specialize in supercross only.

Also why wouldnt smart top race the SX series next year ?

Glad you posted the proposed 2023 schedule, now maybe the people who hate Feld and think thats who the World SX will compete with can see where they are going and its direct competition with the Nationals. Now if you want to ride SX only then this is a gift wrapped package, first ride the SX series and then the World SX

What caught my eye was the 40 applications for team licenses! That's pretty impressive.

If they had 40 applications and the ones being announced are the cream of the crop then I'd be curious to see what the other 30 were.
