Looking to replace the stock bars with something better. It’s meant for my 8 year old daughter to ride and won’t be used as an adult pit bike. any suggestions?

Pretty much any aluminum bars.

But I would recommend something in the general shape of the Pro Taper mini SE, pit bike or not, it you ever intend to ride it.

I like this idea, but it seems like it might still be pretty wide for an 8 year old. I could run any set of mini bars this way though. And I’m assuming the cables were all long enough, correct?

I might try the Tusk Risers along with a pair of the Pro Taper SE Yamaha mini bend.

Honestly that was my biggest concern too and I the photos I can’t promise you it looks wider than it really feels! My oldest son is 7 and he bombs around on it very well! If you really wanted you could certainly take more material off the handlebars to tighten up the cockpit so to speak. The cables are all stock and I couldn’t believe everything worked out. I was sure I was going to be screwed and need longer cables but I ran everything the stock way and nothing binds or stretches. The only “issue” I would say I encountered is the on/off switch location. I placed mine on the rear half portion of the handlebar risers which required a bit of flatting on the bracket with a dremel so I could sandwich it in between the bar clamps and someone keep its original location. It also interferes with the bar pad so I had to do art class with my box cutter to sort of make it look better. A better skilled person could easily just re locate the key or remove it all together, I didn’t put a whole pile of thought into that side of it lol. I think this look and the way it feels on the bike is 1000x better than the BMX hi rise bar trend. It’s comfortable for all ages and sizes and in my opinion looks so much nicer. I got the handlebars for free from a friend and the grips, risers and adapters cost me like $50 total to my door!
