I’ve got a few days in the new TLD/Adidas year and it’s amazing! Super stretchy, Hard to go back to the old stuff now. I hope they take this material into more designs for next year.

I only have one issue with my Se4, the comfort and airflow is amazing, but the gap between the chinguard and your goggles means that when I wear my airbrakes I eat massive amounts of roost and take a lot of mud to the mouth. I've had more split lips and bruises than I ever had with my Bell. Gone to some 100% goggles with the nose-guard, and that makes a huge difference. Oakley, if you're reading, put a nose-guard out for the airbrakes!!

How does this stuff compare to the SE pro? I really want some "stretchy" gear but I'm not feeling the Adidas branding.

I wear nothing but Fox 360 gear. Was thinking about trying out the TLD Yamaha gear that they have. Anyone have an opinion if I will like it compared to the fox 360 gear? I like the simple clean design of it.

I've owned 4 TLD helmets in the past ten years (SE2, 3 and now a 4) and I love the fit etc. Has anyone noticed the paint and clear are much thinner now? I have many paint chips on my SE4 that i've only worn for about a year than I have on all other helmets combined.

The only paint chips i've noticed are on the visor from roost, but TLD includes a spare visor with the helmet so no biggie!

They used to come with extra Visors, my newest one did not and in perfect TLD fashion, it starting chipping right away. Love the helmets and gear but seems to me the quality has gone down in the last couple of years ( hmmm I wonder why )Wink

That looks nice for sure. 300 bucks is a little too much for me though. Between 150-200 is really the max I'd want to pay for a gearset. The old Thor Primefit gear had a good price/quality ratio. High end gear for a decent price. Fox, Shift, TLD and Seven are going crazy with their prices on the light slimfit stuff.

Got my first set of TLD gear this summer and loving it. I'll be adding to the collection next season.

Gear is so tight. I work on the Adidas account at my agency, while also having several friends who work there including my wife! I tried to get a hook up but word is that TLD got to license the Adi branding for the gear/team and is able to sell it exclusively to the public. Crushing.

I used Alias the first two years of its release, been TLD since then. Always have had good luck with their gear.
