Good news for him, he should be the favorite with Sihvonen and a few other guys for the title!

Good and bad news. Good he is having a solid ride and a good bike. The bad thing about it is, this guy belongs in the MX2 WC or AMA 250. Another year in the EMX is a lost year in my eyes... He can be a top 10 guy with no problem on both sides.

Good rides are hard to get it seems or you need to pay allot of money if you see where some guys land.

I don't think it's bad for him. If he'll get the title I'm sure Yamaha has no problem with bumping him up to MX2.

Smart decision. He definitely needs one more year in EMX before moving to MX2.

I dont agree with you, they move up Geerts to the factory team. He is still really young, and made a ton of crashes and mistakes this year, would be a smarter decision if he stayed EMX 250. Guys like Beaton and Fernandez are moving up, both got nothing for Tristan the last few EMX races when he found his home and the bike got better.

He got a top 10 at Hangtown in 2016, and still in EMX for 2018?

He got 5th in the points this year in EMX250. The class is very competitive and some riders can finish one weekend 20th and the next weekend 3rd.

He is probably going for the title and he will have a great chance of getting a factory ride in MX2 2019.

Top 10 in an AMA 250 race means he should dominate MX2.Wink

Is that happening still with the Belgian Honda team?

Very cool to see Charboneau pursuing a career abroad and following through with it. Both he and Covington have well put to rest their reputations as spoiled and coddled rich kids who aren't willing to sacrifice for the sport. Big fans of both, now.

Why was his time riding for Geico Honda so short? I remember him showing some potential!

It was a bit weird how they gave up on him like that. He finished 6th in his first ever moto and got hurt midway through the season.

Probably because he had to make room for McAdoo.

Mcadoo started the year with motoconcepts. After a few races they made a deal and he went over to Geico.

Jeremy Martin coming in if im right. He got a 1 Year contract with Geico, started off real strong but got injured. Came back to early and didnt found his self back those last few races. There was one spot left.. but Martin came over from Yamaha and took it.
