Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today broken in heart and broken in spirit. We suffer the loss of a son, a brother, and a dear friend in Scott Stewart. Many of us only knew him as “OCSCOTTIE” on the internet and web forums. We were lucky to call him a friend. Many of us having never met him in person can attest to what he meant to all of us.
Scott had suffered for many years in pain Lord, but we know today, he no longer suffers. We trust in knowing he is in your arms, he is indeed in the presence of God. He is with the saints and the angels who have gone before us.
Jesus Christs our Lord and Savior, we pray for comfort for the Stewart family, and for his friends during this time. Give us peace, grace, mercy and the strength to weather this storm. The bible says you can calm the winds, you can calm the oceans. Jesus we ask that of you. Not to take away what we feel today, but to walk with us, and to carry us in times of need.
The feeling of loss is great because Scott was a huge presence in many lives. We thank you God for the time we had with him on this earth. We know he is in a better place with you Lord Jesus.
RIP Scott Stewart
Amen

Thank you TX for writing that. RIP #28.
Very well said.
I can only hope to do as much in the dash as Scott.
I was concerned I might read a thread like this today. Sad to hear, but we know he is no longer in pain now.
