Trey at Unadilla on a 450. I can't remember the year (could have been all of them for all I know), but he made a rough, rutted out track look like a freshly paved freeway. The dude's style was damn near text book.

2013 A1. He didn’t win the race, but to come out swinging like that after the big injury in 2012 is up there with Carmichael coming through the pack at Anaheim to dethrone Jeremy.

Nothing but respect for the person Trey Canard is..
As a racer he was always so exciting and had a sick style, and never quit I made the joke that his nick name should be Far, cause whenever he's in a race he tries Far Canard to win..

Hoping for nothing but happiness for that legend

I remember Trey on 80s having lots of big crashes but almost always getting right back up. He was like a junior Carmichael. He crashed one time in a rhythm section at village creek in Fort Worth (I think in 04 or 05). He was literally cartwheeling down this hill the rhythm section was on. I can still vividly see it for whatever reason. He got right back up though which was unbelievable to me at the time.

Agreed. Too bad the fat, drunk and ignorant "fans" continue to grow in numbers. Bad behavior is rewarded these days.

One of the greatest racing memories I have is watching Trey tape a photo of his dad to the inside of his chest protector then sitting next to his mom and watching him win his very first supercross race ever. The Canards are some of the best people I’ve ever had the privilege of being around.

He reminds me a lot of one of my friends, totally chilled nice guy that would help anyone at the drop of a hat but has this way of engaging beast mode when he puts his helmet on.
