Interesting that they stayed with PSF's, I thought rumor was spring forks...?

It is radically different, yes new chassis and bodywork...but radically different?

The works bike we all rode had Showa spring forks on it with air assist. I'll hopefully have mine done tomorrow, I stayed behind for a few extra days in Japan, so I'm being a tourist.

Kouichi Fukuya Lives not far from me.
In the off season he spends a lot of time at a local track I also use. His practice bike doesn't look quite as nice..and he hasn't let me ride it either...lol

Well, the works bike was all titaniumed out...

As for production, yes, I know...but I signed some papers that I think includes sending me to a firing squad if I say what it is.

I'll give you a slight hint, it doesn't weigh more than a 17.

So let me get this straight, they send media to Japan for the "all new 450 launch" and you guys ride works bikes?

How is this supposed to be relevant at all to consumers?

Apologies if you guys rode the production '18 bike but all I have read/seen online and social media was works bike stuff.

Would you complain? If it was me I would be like, "that one looks cool, but when do I get to ride THAT?!"

Yes It is all very strange to me. Suzuki bring media from all over the world to race a 2018 works bike.

Why would you as a company let the world test the best thing you have just weeks before you release the -18 production bike. It doesn't matter if they have the best production bike ever produced it will never ever feel as perfect as that works bike.

It feels like it would be better to do it the other way around. Release production bike first...then next year let media ride factory bike.

I think the works bike ride was just part of it, the part the media can talk about now, if you get my drift.
