How well does Glen Helen handle rain? Was going to spectate (IR) on Saturday but not going to go if its a mudfest. Got a bad hoof

Bad hoof- Not so great. We had some good rain at the Big 6 race a couple weeks ago. I tried to deter the GF from spectating. She ended up on her ass a couple of times. My poor truck is still suffering from her lack of balance

I was out there on March 12-13 and we had rain a couple days before. GH actually wanted us to cancel. Around the grandstands and most of the pit area you will be fine unless it is actively raining, then it could be slippery. It's supposed to stop raining tomorrow. As far as the track, the start straight was a mud bog but we got through. Not too sure about minis though. The area right around the tunnel jump before the start straight was better than ankle deep. I think if you stay out of the infield you could be OK.

If they didn't touch the track this week, it'll be good. Entering off of Glen helen parkway gate 3. Practice 2 to 4 tomorrow.

The roads are closed to get in. The county have not cleared them yet and the water coming off the hills are bad. The hills are saturated and they are expecting rain all through the night. I called a buddy who lives up there and he said it's raining now.

Sorry to derail this car thread, but I was at Glen Helen racing this weekend and it sure was fun. It was my first proper race in US so I didn't know how my speed would be compared to other guys and I picked a little too easy class (40+ novice) on Saturday. I won it and decided to jump on to intermediate class on Sunday and that seems to be correct one for me. I took a bad start, but managed to make my way up to second before crashing at the split part of the track. I had to wait until everyone went past before picking up the bike to avoid being hit by other riders. I was 10th in the moto. The last moto I got holeshot and won it, so super happy for the weekend. Here is a little GoPro video from the second moto with a crash and some nice blocking action from fellow rider (see around after 3 min mark) Wink
