Just moved to the Ithaca area, looking for tracks to ride myself but more importantly places nearby both public and private for a few privateers to practice at for a few weeks before the Unadilla national.

Small ass world though, I am originally from Ithaca. Growing up I would frequent Frozen-Ocean, Jacksons Pumpkin Farm, MX573, Miles Mountain. So many good tracks in the area and apparently more keep opening up.

East on 79 is Broome. Best bet would probably be Western NY. On top of a couple mentioned, Sick Bros, Silver Springs, Pavilion, Palmyra, Area 51, I know I'm forgetting a few. A couple new tracks have popped up but no idea how good. Heard a rumour that Watkins Glen MX may reopen under new owners.

New York is underated when it comes to Moto. Lots of tracks and if you're lucky, a good amount of decent private tracks to ride. At one time there was close to 40 tracks. Lately new ones are popping up. Not to mention off-road clubs and racing is picking up steam.

The race districts in NY are:
AMA D3/CNYMRA - Central/Eastern NY
Empire State MX - Western NY
Upstate MX - Central NY
AMA D34 - NY, NJ, PA
MSC - Eastern NY
AMA D6 -PA

Central NY is low-key a moto hotspot. Not all the tracks are great, but there are a lot. Some are REALLY good.

I dont think anything downtown is fun, including but not limited to having to drive through it. ha. I stay up on top of the hill by the airport if at all possible.

I'm actually at one of the new tracks. It's in Lindley NY, called Whitetail mx. It's not ready for a national but it's a decent practice track.

Jbulz, I'm in Binghamton. It's crazy to look at a list of everything we have around here! Wow. I feel kinda fortunate we live in such a good moto area!
