Kind of a weird layout, and the weather might be a wet one!

Kind of useless sand section, would like a tighter corner like last weekend or the corner before the finish line to use it

Sand needs to be at home plate .... call it the Howerton Turn ! Woohoo
It is Oakland. Cool
Nice to see the attempt at 90degree turns ... more solid passing places. Cheerful

90 degree turns are worse for passing

Man, baseball stadiums can sure make for some shitty track layouts. Hopefully it's a mudder, that'll make it interesting.

That double before the sand section would be cool if it had a split down slope where the inside line was a longer distance gap than the outside line and the face of the take off was very steep.

it looks like it's running down the third base line, which would be the right side of the map in this link...

Actually right field near "Mt. Davis" where the boxes are. Sections over there are in the 140's and 240's.

It has a football configuration, too, which removes the dugout and part of the foul area seating, and adds more bleachers in the outfield area.

I suppose with all the removable features out, there would be a pretty good sized floor.

Yea, I was way the hell off, wasn't I?

It seems to be an odd layout (probably because it's a duel sport stadium), but it does make sense that the track map image would be from home plate looking to the outfield.

It'll never happen but I would love to see a full sand SX track.

I was at that 1989 race, it was unreal how much faster Bradshaw was riding than the other 125 riders.

They already tried that in Miami, it didn't work out so good because it broke down on the second lap.

Is it just me or is there a whole lot of not much going on following that double out of the left hander, through the sand, around through the dragons back looking things and into the whoops?

I think it was Tomac on this weeks pulp show that said 90s are terrible for passing. I'll take his word over your "nope...". Tongue
