Sent in my Ecm to get rid of the decel pop, as soon as they received it they shipped out the same day.
After installing throttle response was substantially better and no more pop on decel. If you are on the fence it is definelty worth it.

Good information!I am thinking to send my 2017 crf450r ECU to them, but still wondering if they are going to be able to fix the jerky throttle feel .
17 CRF450r owner here. Sent my ECU to Tokyo Mods. Unfortunately they can't get rid of the jerkiness, as they can't modify map 1. They can only modify maps 2&3. Helped a bit, smoother and starts like a charm.

I sent them a Vortex ignition for a YZ250F. The tracking showed it was delivered, but they claimed they never got it. They weren't too concerned with tryig to find it or help remedy the situation. I'll never deal with them again.
I get mine back Tuesday for a 17 Crf450r but so far customer service and shipping has been great.
Anybody try motolab in Conneticut? They did my RMZ and it was excellent. Fast turnaround and great prices.
I used Tom at MotoLab. He flashed my RMZ450 ECU. Not that good on his first attempt so I sent it back. Then I never saw it again.
After a few months of waiting I contacted him and he said that he did have it and will ship it out. After another month or two he Ignored my messages on IG and emails.
Needless to say I had to buy another ECU with zero help from Tom.
Now it’s been well over a year and I will always advice people to steer clear of MotoLab. Worst Moto related experience ever!!!

That is one good looking bike OP!
much ty. How to spot a paid forum poster/artificial forum traffic producer (see list of actions/phrases below):
Copius pattern amounts of phrases like “Anyone have”..., “Anybody know?”.... and their variations.
Thoughts?
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Wow interesting to hear, I found him VIA thumper talk and he had it back to me within 5 business days. Everyone had good things to say about him.

I drove down there and was in and out in like 30 mins.
1 blink - stock ; 2 blink - Torque ; 3 blink - Power
I run the torque map a lot. I also have a yoshi that it mapped for. Noticed way better throttle response, and way less low end jeryness gone. It also felt like it pulled 3rd gear a lot more aggressively. My buddy has 18 which stock has different ecu flash then 17 and he thought my bike was faster and snappier

Dumb question, does Tokyo Mods remap RMZ ECU's? I have a spare brand new stock ECU for my bike I would like to get remapped different from stock settings. Seems like there are few and far between people that will remap RMZ's. TIA
Tokyo Mods does make some very cool looking stickers and with the name and logo gives me the impression of trickness.
I had an 05 CRF450 with a full blown Tokyo mods ignition setup, cdi and map handlebar selector switch plus they did their carb work with the neon hose(s) and they or someone else had done some motor work.....needless to say back in 06 this bike was STUPID fast and was hard as hell to hold on to....it was actually ex-Fox "superstar" rep Warren Johnsons bike. The bike also had the full on RG3 "Diamond Kit" front and rear with the 18mm o/s shock shaft. Both the forks and Shock had the full dlc treatment a to school spring etc...needless to say the suspension on this bike was so much better than ANYTHING I had ridden before but with the bike running like a topfuel dragster I couldn't come to terms with the bike as a whole so I bought a nearly brand new bone stock 05 CRF450 and swapped over the Rg3 clamps, suspension and white Bros carbon low boy pipe to the new 05 and I was one happy camper!
