I think it's great that he has a ride in the AMA, he has been running just outside the top 3 here in the Aussie MX1 nationals this season.

He is familiar with the bike and most of the tracks on the circuit, so I say it is a good fit.

Man I hope so, as discussed by many and still one of my favorite seasons battling Pro Circuit teammate RV.

somewhere in Mount Manganui, a bearded man laughs, and now knows why Chad Reed loves winding people up on social media,

I bet the Bay of Plenty fishing isn't this good either, just one stinky little bit of bait and he got so many bites! Bahaha

Although I would love seeing Townley back on a good bike in the states I think I'd prefer if he could just continue to be retired and not risk any more injuries. It's his decision I guess, make a good one.

I never believed Ben was ready to hang it up for good, and I'm happy to see him easing back into racing.

But he's had a long layoff and isn't up to speed yet. A factory Honda ride in the US is a big step. Obviously Honda doesn't feel too comfortable with other options.

Townley was very close to Gibbs at the last two recent races in Aus,

As long as BT isn't doing any GNCC, Whibs gave him a good old lesson at Woodville this year. As much as I would love to see Ben ride again in the states, I think I would rather see Courtney Duncan carving up over there on her 125 again

it would be great to see him back but judging from his aus fill in results he is not ready for AMA pace quite yet. I think he would be best to stay retired and do the odd fill in race in aus when needed.
