Townley – DeCoster and more on DMXS Radio Tonight!
TwoTwo Motorsports secured their immediate plans with the announcement last week that Ben Townley would be filling in for the injured team patriarch over the summer. The popular Kiwi is no stranger to winning here in the states and will hit the ground running with the formidable TwoTwo effort and Factory Honda behind him. BT has a new and refreshed outlook on racing as evidenced by his recent success abroad, and that should translate well when the gate drops on the great outdoors. We always look forward to having him on even if we had to track him down in New Zealand tonight!
Red Bull KTM has plenty to be proud of this season with the milestone wins on the 450 and proving the Austrian based manufacturer can indeed run with the best in both classes. That doesn’t mean that Roger “The Man” DeCoster wasn’t looking to bump up that learning curve even quicker before Dungey’s injury sidelined their 450 championship effort until the summer. Roger still has plenty on his plate and we’ll get his breakdown of their season with only a five rounds remaining.
Jarrod Rogers is the Director of Marketing Operations at Motosport.com. I’m not sure what that cool sounding title really means in the real world, but he’s on tonight to detail their Ultimate Riding Package contest worth over $20,000, including a new 2012 CRF450R and every bit of gear you’ll need to impress your friends at the track. You can enter for free at www.motosport.com/dirtbike/win each week for your chance at the prizes. Motosport.com supports many of our sport’s charitable organizations, and the Motosport-TiLube Foremost team in addition to DMXS, so please support them when you need gear and stuff.
Ian Runyon from ONE Industries is a good friend of the show and will help us wade through all the pictures in the free gear contest to help determine a winner tonight. Check out their new 2012 fresh lineup at www.oneindustries.com
We want to welcome on Black Ops Moto to the show as a sponsor for the upcoming season. They specialize in high-output performance ignition coils for your bike that will result in higher power and torque that can specifically tuned to your bike and needs. Check them out at www.BlackOpsMoto.com and make your bike more rideable, not just faster!
DMXS Radio also thanks our wives, ONE, Racer X, MX Sports, GoPro Cameras, OGIO, Concept2Rowers, Coach Robb Beams, MotoSport.com, Vurb Moto and Skull Candy for their continued support!
