I'm not sure of his contract situation but I hope he gets a 450 ride. Even if he stays with geico and rides a 450 like eli did a few years back. I think if hes able to stay healthy hes a solid top 10 guy with the ability to lead some laps and maybe get on the podium or win. I think his father in law is one of the owners for geico honda so maybe they could pull something like that off. If Justin Hill can get a 450 ride I sure hope Craig does.

Look at the Honda factory 450 track record in the past few years.

2011 - Canard breaks femur 2x, JG barely races, Reed gets the Chadapult but survives.
2012 - Canard almost gets killed, Brayton breaks his leg but races through it, and Reed rips up his knee.
2013 - Actually remarkably injury free for Honda.
2014 - Canard gets hurt a couple of times, Barcia pulls the pin on outdoors to get his ankle fixed.
2015 - Canard breaks his arm badly in Detroit.
2016 - Surely Canard got hurt, just can't recall the exact injury. Seely misses a couple of SX and most of outdoors.
2017 - K-Rex 1.0
2018 - K-Rex 2.0, Seely blows his lower abdomen and pelvis to bits, and now Craig tears up a knee.

Ride Red. Call 911.

Get well soon Christian, bummer you are out as you've been riding well all season. Hopefully Honda rewards you with a 450 deal for 2019.

It was said before; fuck that jump. Ya the 250s were clearing it. Meaning it wasn’t that hard. But not every lap and not repeatedly clean. Everyone wants a show, and thats at the Riders risk. What if, the tracks were just a tad easier. But everyone was healthy. Get well soon CC

Man, the chances of a rider getting injured on a current gen HRC bike is sky high! Basically every single 450 rider for HRC has been hurt this year(US and GPs).

This is of course just a freak thing, so calm down Honda fanboys.

I hope Craig gets a good ride for 19.

Gajser hurt, Bogers hurt, Waters hurt in his first race. So both fill ins for HRC are hurt (Craig & Waters).

True Waters could not even get through qualifying on the Honda 450 ejection device.

You forgot about one of the biggest crashes that makes people question the Honda. Tomac's high speed crash that took out both shoulders.

Yes, I should add Tomac in 2014 had a big crash in Daytona practice and a concussion, then broke his collarbone testing for outdoors. And in 2015 we all remember the big one at Lakewood.

Also Wil Hahn in 2014, riding for Geico had that horrible crash in a rhythm lane in St. Louis (I think).

Honestly, no other brand can claim the carnage that Honda has racked up. Even the most die-hard Honda fan has to admit this.
