Tomac is on form boys. He's in shape and ready to battle through this heat. Let's hope he gets a good start in Moto 2!

So happy not to have to listen to everyone talk shit about how Americans suck and herlings is MX god.

To all the shit talkers : How's it feel to eat your words ?

He really switched off at the end whereas Tomac and Cairolli kept pushing to the end. Cairolli gained a bit on Herlings towards the end there!

It was a good win but he was not winning by 28 seconds. Two laps earlier it was just 11 seconds and herlings was catching him.... He prob realized that catching him was not happening and slowed down.
Anyways congrats Tomac

Go back to the qualifying thread yesterday, there were more Americans writing Tomac off than anyone else

Herlings is still the fastest outdoor rider in my opinion. Tc and Tomac are pretty even. The rest I don't really know. If Herlings gets the jump next moto bet he gaps em all by 28+

That's not "slowing down" you don't just lose 17 seconds in 2 laps be easing off. Herlings was fucked.

One thing I like about Herlings is that he respects other good racers!

JH had the gap down to 10 seconds at one point, but Eli just kept the hammer down and continued to run very fast 2:07s on through the stretch. It was like he was still trying to extend the gap all the way to the finish.

If this is true then maybe people will stop acting like US motocross is doomed and its the end of the world.

Oh wow did we watch the same race?

Now you're going to say he was catching him? He had half the race to close the gap and he couldn't.

Even the damn announcers called it. Once herlings got into second, he made no progress on catching tomac. Go look at the lap times. Tomac also had the fastest overall lap.

Face it, your boyfriend got beat straight up, and is not faster than tomac.

It's afugginmazin that Tomac remembered how to ride outdoors in a week, and Factory Kawi remembered how to set up for an outdoor track!

Hahahaha tomac would never be 2nd if starts outside top 10. Herlings was closing the gap to 10.8 sec 3 laps before the flag...watch what i'm saying i don't believe he gets lucky twice. JH and AC both starting outside top 10 then youre are a lucky man if you holeshot. It almost never happens that they both start so bad

He made it with 13 mins to go from 15 sec to almost 10 sec my friend. But then there were only 3 more laps

It would be nice if there were more people like that, especially on this forum during the last week. This place has gone end over end and back the other way so many times during the last week with this AMA vs GP shit and the results changing every moto it's unbeliable how people still go on about who is faster than the other.

Wont happen unless Herlings is outside top 10 again. If so i would be saying tomac did one hell of a job today

Everyone who wrote Tomac and US motocross off after over reacting to last weekend is dumb. Likewise, everyone who is doing the opposite today, also dumb. Guys have good days, guys have bad days, GPs have some of the best riders in the world and AMA has some, what is so fucking hard to understand about that? As an American, I want the fastest guy that day to win, no matter where he is from or what series he regularly races.

I do not know why we cannot just respect riders for their abilities. No matter where are from. I do not see the point in trying to deride and degrade great riders. I understand banter in fun.. but I think sometimes there is a lot of malice within and this is not good.

The 3 fastest outdoor riders in the world today were on the podium. Problem is one of them only shows up sporadically a few times a year.
