So, it looks like Tomac is 40 points ahead of where he was at this point last year?

He’s gonna peak mid season when everyone else is falling off
I was thinking the exact same thing, he’s playing the long game this season.

Carmichael changed the way people train.
Stewart changed the way people ride.
Did Dungey change the way guys race and manage championships?

Is the new normal to accept a 3rd or 4th if you aren’t feeling it (where in the past guys would have pushed it with a more “win or crash” menatility-RV seemed to have this).

I think dungey changed the sport.
JMB did the same. shoot, i think he won a title without winning a race. maybe outdoors 1991?

I completely agree and your statement makes a lot of sense, the only problem with Eli trying to play the Dungey game is, Eli can't get a top 3 holeshot every race like Dungey could and like Kenny most likely will. I just thought he'd push harder to pass a guy that will most likely be starting in front of him. Still early
FYI, Tomac had the best average starting position of anyone last year. Better than Ken.
Yea I know. Im a Tomac fan. As a fan I was just trying to conversate over the fact, with like minded people. You honestly think with a full season of stat's to go off of Eli will have a better starting average than Kenny? "FYI" ?? F-you
