Yes, he can pull of the track hurt or injured. Seems to be the former.

Nothing bamged up but his ego. That pull off move was a combo of panic and frustration. I would fully expect to see him in Houston.

kinda depends if it's a shoulder injury or concussion.

shoulder injury, get a shot of cortisone and he's good to go.

concussion... they would have had to express the injury and pass the test (if there are any in protocol)

either way hope he shows up with some flashy suspenders ready to go

Thats gotta be more to this story than he bruised his shoulder and then is good next week. A solid bruised shoulder isn't even gonna really set in till 3 days after. Severe enough right on impact to pull a grown man from a championship race......then he'll be good to go next week?!? I'm not trying to be cynical, but I'm being totally cynical.

his shoulder is probably fine. it’s a mental game for him. if he thinks people think he has a bum shoulder, well then all of a sudden it’s ok if he loses because he’s not 100%. it’s an excuse. Reed has been doing it for years

If I remember correct, years ago Reed dislocated his shoulder, pulled over and yanked it back into to place and finished the race. Think it was Southwick.
Also saw him drop from 20ft at Millville, thought I was seeing a guy get killed. He got up and finished.
Reeds not a guy that pulls out and makes excuses.
