moto 2 proved it.
- in sprint mode - No one has ever ridden a motocross bike faster than Eli Tomac.
Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting

"Technically" im sure plenty of guys have ridden a motorcycle faster than Eli in moto2.
Most of the guys on the 450 gate at Glen Helen would have reached a faster speed than Eli today!
He beat MM25 who has never had raw speed and a cripple..... RC4, JS7, RV2 have all gone faster. Herlings would beat him straight up and I’m a Eli fan

the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it
I think the OP needs to see the footage of Herlings throwing a little X-games style into his qualifying moto!
Heads up on both of their fastest laps on any given track, Tomac V Herlings battle would be epic.
Ahhh the current generation of Euro V AMA FMOTP.
Different generation, different names, same old argument

I’m a fan of Eli through thick and thin but Ironman 2017 450 Moto 1 did in fact happen
It’s pretty difficult to compare Eli and JH in terms of speed because they don’t race each other that often. On any given day one could beat the other imo. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top At MXoN.
‘02 CR250/‘06 YZ250F
Only Marvin who is fast and fit.. Roczen still not 100% is this the same guy that could only manage 9th last week ? Asking for a friend .

In response to “no one has ever ridden a dirt bike faster than Eli”......he has 1 single 450 title. Ricky and James have both gone faster than him.
We’re going to have to see a perfect outdoor season and a f*** ton of titles to back up these lofty claims of yours.

Not everyone is smart enough to understand that raw speed has nothing to do with championships. I see quite a few people that don't catch that, so don't feel bad.
He is the new james stewart in alot of ways. When he throws caution to the wind, look out. I agree fmotp.

yeah...most ignorant observation that keeps being brought up.
tomac was running herlings back down (yes was running him down)...and bobbled. then made the smart move and realized title was on the line and racing herlings for the win would jeopardize title. everyone in the industry realized this except you.
need a full season of herlings vs. tomac to settle this debate and its never gonna happen. they both are fast and both will win against each other depending on their mojo or type of track they are on. huge fans of both of them.

Herlings smokes your boy last year. He doesn’t have the raw speed for the FMOTP nor the titles. 0/2

They each beat the other at MM Motocross Park. Tomac also normally beats Cairoli like a drum when they race each other.
Speaking of which, here's your reminder that at Glen Helen in 2016 Tomac was going 4 seconds a lap faster than Cairoli in both motos and passed/gapped him like he was a lapper:

Man I love all the people like you who bring this type shit up.... its like you guys have amnesia or something
Did everyone forget when webb came from 19th and caught and passed herlings in moto2 @ charlotte??? and forker also beat him....
So what does that mean??
Tomac also won the first moto at the jacksonville against herlings and cairoli...
So again what does that mean??
It means NOTHING is what it means. Both tomac and herlings can win on any given day. neither is significantly better than the other. Basically a 50/50 shot at whos going to win.
