With no due respect, he lost that shot.

I would rather send a loosing team, than to let that fair weather participant jump in because it’s in the US.

He can go fuck off and hunt again instead of racing IMO.
Dumb AF. GTFO.
Mind your own business you knob.

No I haven't, but I saw a herd of Elk 150 + strong running in Flagstaff. Quite a site.
As for Tomac, and MXoN... I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I'm still trying to get used to the fact that Dungey ain't lining up come A1.
In other words, it's a bit early to be getting worked up about MXoN.

He`s a draft dodger. RC never did such thing when healthy. Respect to Ricky.

Others will deserve to go ahead of Tomac when ... wait for it ... wait for it ... they're actually better than Tomac. Who would that be?

MXoN is the Big Leagues, meaning Cairoli and Herlings. Tomac and Baggett are the only Americans who have any kinda shot at those guys.

I’m in the group that thinks he should not be asked. However, Dungey dodged it one or two times. Didn’t see these threads about him. So I’m torn.

I don't like that he passed when asked previously.
While Eli doesn't owe us anything, I think it's an embarassment for top riders to just say"meh, don't feel like it this year". I think this is all a moot point though. Roger is all business. He will ask whoever he believes gives the best chance of a win. At the end of the day that's Eli. Plain and simple because he kicks ass.
But let's not kid ourselves, if he ever says "I do it for the fans" we know better. All the rest of it is his job/career. MXoN is the over and above for the fans.

Man.....this is the thing though , and some people don't seem to get it. It isn't just a " Meh....I don't want to do it ".

It's saying " Sure I'll add another 6 weeks of my normally scheduled off time , because I was the fastest guy this year. And mean while , the other 99% of the guys who didn't beat me , get the time off"

And hell yes I wanted Eli to go! I wanted our country to send their best. But damn , I can't and won't shame a dude for wanting some time off , after he got done killing it all season. If other riders would have trained as hard as what Eli did , maybe they would want the time off too? Maybe if they busted their ass's as hard as Eli did , maybe they could deserve the time off.....but instead , they got gifted it , because they didn't have to worry about themselves as being the fastest guy last season.

Some guys take Eli's decision a little too serious. I wanted him to go , but I aint in his shoe's and I sure as hell aint paying him to go....so why would I give a shit? National pride....yeah , but I aint the one having to do the work. Big difference.

I would almost be willing to bet the people saying he shouldn't be asked would be the first people to talk shit on him if he did go and didn't perform.

If the top guys stay healthy just imagine the battle we could have in the 450/open cat.

Herlings has already showed you guys how well he can ride the open , flowing us style circuits.

Red Bull will suit Herlings he will be hauling ass around there.

ET will feel the weight of the nation on his shoulders, after ducking out & usa under performing in recent years.

I think ET will go but I don't think it's going to end well for team USA.

TBH I think USA wont make the podium. Expect Germany, Holland & France top hold the top spots.

USA 5th approx

I’m kinda torn on it because I understand him wanting the time off, but I wouldn’t mind seeing Webb and Ando getting the nod. I think the guys on the previous b teams who were willing to step up should be rewarded moving forward.

Webb wont be an option because he will be switching teams. It will be interesting to see how Andersons season goes this year, its his time to really turn the corner.

I want guys that are in regardless of the "grueling" race season. I hope he doesn't get asked.

Dungey didn't dodge it, he took a well deserved short time off to get married. He got fried for it by many here on Vital.

I just want to see the best racing possible, if that means Tomac racing , so be it.
Let's all hope all the riders picked are healthy and up for the challenge on the big day.
