I think with this last win at High Point tied him with Wardy at 10th on the all-time motocross win list with 13 overalls. He’s getting into some highly regarded names. I hope he keeps it on two wheels! Would love to see how far he can go.

I too would love to see him climb the ranks. Hopefully it'll come with time and patients. I dont think he'll get to dungey, (i think he has around 37 overalls)?, Someone correct me if im wrong. Although i would love to see it. But anywhere in the twenties is possible i would think. Competition will get tougher as guys move up from the 250s and roczen/musquin/anderson get stronger. So it may make it a little harder to win. Im definitely all for seeing him do it though.

I understand when you say Roczen & Anderson will get stronger. But I'm curious as to why you would add Musquin?

He will continue to get O/A's & be in the record books before his pro career is said & done. When he moved into the big bike class I felt his mental game was lacking. After yesterdays HP race he's showing the maturity & smarts it takes to win at his level. He's always had the raw speed & is now becoming a well rounded top pro racer which is a lethal combination to his competition..

How long do you think Eli is going to be racing professionally? It feels like RV and RD are setting the bar to retire before you hit 30, whereas in the Carmichael or even McGrath era, you'd see guys like Larocco race into their deep 30s.

I wonder, he's just getting going now. Would love to see him for another 5 years at least which would put him around 30?

I don’t think he’s in the same boat as RV and RD. He spends his weeks training at home with his family...probably a way different dynamic than the dudes that go to aldon. You never know though

Where does he sit on the win ratio list? Surely thats just as/more important with varying numbers of races per year for the guys on the list.

Does RC currently hold the most outdoor wins? I can’t recall.

Yes, by a mile. I don't know the exact numbers, but I think he's leading by over 30 overall wins. I'll double check.

If only Dungey had won one less race, RC would have double the wins of anyone else. Laughing I guess if we count 125/250f class, he has way more than double the next guy.

125/250 wins do count. This isn't SX, a regional championship

Good chance Eli could be tied with James for outdoor wins by the end of the season.

He won 102 out of 127 races entered.

He won 26 out of 39 125 races and an even more ridiculous 76 out of 88 250/450 races.

I get that, but this thread wasn't discussing 125/250 wins from what I gathered.

Tomac just passed Mike Kiedrowski, Jeff Stanton and Ryan Villopoto on the win list.

Lol. Couldn’t remember. I was pretty sure but not 100 percent. Didn’t know if there was someone from a long time ago like 30 to 40 years ago.

Man I miss watching RC ride. It was just a treat every time. Never ceases to amaze me. Don’t know how that short little bastard went so fast and constantly proved people wrong.

8 rounds left and he needs 7 wins to tie James, I wouldn't say good chance but far from impossible.

Well again it was worded outdoor wins not 250/450 wins. So James has 48 outdoor wins
