Why would the Tomac’s not hire Mike Allessi to work on starts. What he is doing is not working. And since mike is racing Arena Cross I am sure the extra money would be nice

I remember on a Swap Moto Live, Tony saying that Malcom didn’t want to use the Alessi system... this baffles me. I know the history of Tony and Mike but you can not deny they have a start process that works

This is a dumb thread, but Eli needs to figure out consistent starts. Some nights it's f%king awful.

Maybe whatever they do to setup their bikes for great starts kills their setup for the rest of the race?

Tomac was 7th at first turn ? no holeshot but i have seen much worse from Tomac , and he doesnt need holeshots to win .

I'm a huge Eli fan, but he started around 10th. That's manageable. Ideal? No way. But it SHOULD be manageable. Last night's terrible showing wasn't because of his start. Osborne started way behind him and finished 3 places in front of him.
You probably can't start 10th and run down Kenny and/or whoever starts in front with a clear track, but man if you're Eli you have to be able to turn that into a podium or at the very worst a 4th or 5th.

Good point.

Yes he has come from the back but he rides much better upfront.
