Hopefully this week has allowed him to heal up a little bit and he can mix it up. Gutted that the year started for him this way.
Hope so! I was one that was thinking he may of caused more damage to the shoulder. Here is to hoping he'll at least be able to finish the season strong.

That Houston rutty and soft track could have more damage to the shoulder for sure. It was too early especially on a track like Houston.
As did I. I’m not sure if you’ve seen the new dirt shark video but Tomac mentions that things weren’t good last weekend. I’m sure he wouldn’t be giving it a go if he didn’t think he could do it, especially with the damage that he’s had previously. Wishing him the best of luck and even to score points would be awesome. Can imagine these few weeks have been tough for him.
I hope he is back...

Not sure why my post got deleted. Happy he is gonna give it a go and hope he starts wearing his A-Stars hunting inspired gear. Thought it was cool last year.
Now we can just hope for some good news on Marv.
I'd love to see him do great, but I don't think the 3 moto format is gonna really work well for him.

If he starts like A1 he will be right.

With his injury that could be the best format for him right now.

I actually think that might suit him, and KR if they get in the top 3 at the start of each race

Thank god your ray of sunshine came in here and brightened the thread up. Glass ain't half full or half empty....the whole glass spilled in your lap.

Visser62 - I too believe the 3 race format will be good for Tomac. Heck, any of the guys who have been (not seriously) injured these first 2 rounds and who are even considering racing, should seriously think about it. For Tomac especially, this is his best opportunity to score some decent points while still healing up. Even if he can only endure 2 of the 3 "shortened" main's, but manages to score top 10 finishes in both, he could salvage quite a few points compared to a typical 21/22 lap main which at the moment, he probably couldn't complete.
Bottom line, if he lines up for A2, he is still thinking championship.

Just speaking what I think is the truth... Just like last week. Might be right might not be.
