Tomac must be super bummed going from fastest qualifier to finishing 8th 30sec off dungey in my opinion he looked better on the bike year I'm guessing there's something more than just arm pump

I'm left to believe it's all upstairs. He needs to take a few days off and clear his mind then come back ready to battle because what he is doing now clearly isn't working.

Copius pattern amounts of phrases like “Anyone have”..., “Anybody know?”.... and their variations.

BS. Peick is a 5th to 10th guy and you don't see him setting fastest qualifying times. He's just in the mental gutter and can't get out.

I was thinking the same thing watching the race.

Doesn't practice during the week with fast guys. Not quick or creative with passes anymore. Bad starts.

Huge Tomac fan here....but something is not right. I don't think it's the bike, I think the bike is just fine. Hopefully he can figure out whatever it is that's holding him back soon.

I just thought it was interesting when Emig was talking about Eli while he was on camera chasing someone down. He kept predicting Eli to make a pass, and it looked like he would, but he just kept coming up short not being able to make it stick.

Emig just sounded kinda of surprised/confused. It honestly looked like Eli was drawing the right lines, but just barely and not tight enough, like he couldn't get the bike leaned over fast enough or just was riding too wide of a line.

But yeah I'm not a pro racer so I have no idea. Only Eli knows. I still love watching the guy ride. I really hope he finds something and gives Dungey a run. There is still so many races left.

Tomac started off better last year with little to no time on the bike. If Anderson doesn't get disqualified and Roczen doesn't go down, he gets 10th. Come on ET!

Never was all that great at SX if we are being honest. Tons of mental mistakes throughout his 250 career. Has succeeded in very few true indoor tracks.

Tomac has all the pieces of the puzzle just needs to put it together. It's got to be frustrating though for Kawi and all the efforts behind him right now

I was thinking this last week, but I don't know, he was fastest in qualifying. He's always kind of been a rider that needs to be comfortable and confident and builds on that. Hope he figures it out soon

Why don't you spare the world with never using the word haters again, or at the very least, until you hit 9th grade

I see this mx836 guy tweeking way too much on here. Cross rutted and going off in here like a total spode. My advice is get your lines figured out and ride your own race man. Quit acting like your the goat of vitalmx

Ryan's replacement?

I think it's way too premature to be buying into any rumors of AC moving up in 2018. I think Savatgy may have to move up, but AC needs/wants a 250 title first.

I wonder who will start a thread this week suggesting Tomac could still be in the championship hunt.

I think the logical move is Eli to KTM if Dungey retires after 2017.

There could be a couple issues with that, like a new schedule eliminating outdoors (please no), MM25, Dungey may not decide to leave before Eli does, Tomac may not be the hottest commodity available, etc...

He's up for a paycut next year for sure...

To me, his bike still looks like a damn see-saw... always super forward or back bias. Kenny's setup is so much calmer. Well, was.

It's bad enough getting 8th. But getting 8th when Roczen has crashed out and Anderson wasn't even in the main. He cannot be happy with that
