Wouldn't risk it and scratch your wheel. Motocross tires have a super thin sidewall. I'm sure it could be done but just grab a set of spoons and knock it out.

Yes you can
you have to be careful with the bead lock in the way
start and stop areas of the rim
Depends on how machine clamps rim

don't use one setup for cars. if spoons/irons aren't for you, look into something like a rabaconda (and no I'm not affiliated in any way)

You definitely can but have to be very careful. All moto shops tire machines are pretty much auto wheel machines with the different clamp setups

Only some machines can. My dad had an old machine (can't remember if it was a Coates or a Corghi?) that we used to do our bike tires on. It had a special attachment for a motorcycle wheel that worked well. He sold that machine and the new one didn't have that capability, so I've done them manually since then.

Look for a coats 220. You'd find them for a cheap price on craigslist.

I just bought one of these this last winter and finally used it last week. These are honestly amazing and well worth the money.

I definitely concur with Troy. We changed 4 tires rather quickly and didn't have any trouble at all! Pretty pricey though!

I changed the cam lock to a trailer hitch pin, for a client. After repeated Mousse changes the cam lock gave up. I just set the device at the three sizes, 18, 19, and 21, and drilled a cross hole. Insert pin, no more slipping. The transfer pin is just to show the client.

I worked in the motorcycle industry for years, every motorcycle tire changer I ever saw, either in person or in catalog was an automotive machine with motorcycle or ATV adapters. The last tire machine I had was an Atlas TC211, we beat it hard for years and it just worked great.

For around $200, you can buy the adapters, they would pay for them selves pretty quickly if you have the machine already.

Have one at my house. Wouldn't want to change a tire without it
