I try to refrain from being a spam-nerd all year long so I have enough grace to get away with this in the fall. Gibby occasionally even stickies it (hint, hint).
If you want to see (or race) next year's badasses, come to Swan in Tyler, Texas October 3rd. Almost forgot: $25,000 reasons to ride it, too
Why?
Well, last year saw Kyle Regal, Dean Wilson, Tevin Tapia, Blake Wharton, Tyler Wharton and Matt Lemoine (and I know I left a lot of names out) doing battle to portend the riders people have been talking about this season. Windham, Reynard, Pastrana and Lots lots more have all done it. Why not you?

(No, I don't get paid. I just like the folks and the race).

You guys that liked Cooperland aint seen shit until you have raced Swan when its nice and rough and moist and rutted down in the trees, and hard packed power slides up on the top half.
Good stuff.
Pure speculation, but I'd be surprised if the Wharton bros, Lemoine, Cunningham, Reynard, Wil Hahn, Tevin Tapia, Keith Johnson and Hackley aren't there. I also think Regal would most definitely race if he wasn't hurt. Last year, when he was quadding a section everyone else was tripling, everyone was "Who is THAT guy?". Well, now you know. Probably a little soon for him to get back on the bike. K-Dub's been known to be there, too. Trampas Parker plus local hotshoes Jesse Moore usually make it, too.
It's a fun, fun day. And then he switches on the lights and they race some more.
Bring dark colored gear though, the soil has a way of turning white stuff orange.
A lot of guys have run their 250s very successfully in the big bike class.
