Mine is just going to be tearing down my 2011 350sxf. Thinking I'll powder coat the frame a different color and do a top end.

Bought a 96' XR600r that I want to try out on the dirt. Seems like it might be kinda fun couch with some torque. Need to find a carb for it.

You should check out a guy on YouTube called Fast Guys Slow Bikes. I think he’s an A or AA guy down in Florida who destroys the class regularly on an old XR600 it’s entertaining.

I don't take on projects anymore, they always seem like a good easy fun idea but never end up that way. So I'll just spend a day pulling all the plastics and deep cleaning my bike. Something legitimately easy and accomplish able. Lol

1994. Has evolved into a massive project. "Ill just get it running" has quickly escalated to " I could have just bought a new bike for what this is costing me." lol

Non-moto, RC51. Puked a water pump seal (fortunately at the end of the good riding season). Side case off, new seal and bearing pressed in. Waiting on four o-rings and a seal.

Also swapping the Yosh exhaust for a set of full Ti high-mount ladybirds, along with removing the rear signals and swapping in a one-piece LED tail/stop/turn lamp unit. I’m sure by the end of winter I’ll cave on some more goodies too, lol...however, I’m trying to go with all reversible mods since it was a fairly rare (most are modded/thrashed) bone-stock model when I got it.

That’s how it always goes. I liked the 94 much better then the 00.
I usually end up stashing cash in tackle boxes to hide what I’m spending from my wife. I miss the days of pre-direct deposit lol.

Does that feature the dual -range 8 speed transmission- or was the 185 that had that oddity ?

I had a tc 90 that had the dual range.

TC models had 5he dual range, T'S models had the 5 speed tranny, right?

Picked up this 2008 YZ450, and now have it in my dining room so I can strip it down and go through everything, check the valves, put on new plastic, graphics, different seat, pegs, handlebars, and prep it for next season. My first mx bike since 1992!

This was last winters project, think it turned out pretty good.. bought it for $400 I hope I can make my little guys look half as good.. best part is he comes out in the garage now and thinks he is helping😂 and by helping I mean misplacing everything that I get out of the tool box or parts box😂😂

Correct. This 250 is a 5-speed. Reading the specs, this is approx. 22 h.p. with a top speed of 80 mph. I don't think this bike would be very stable at 80 after riding it around the neighborhood.

I would but I am horrible at taking photos, I’ll see what I have and see if I can string something together

My new to me part-time moto hauler, and cheap daily instead of my Transit. It was a long time moto hauler of a buddy of mine who put 500K+ miles on it. Time for some tlc in my care.
