He just filed for divorce, loaded a very small U-Haul and is moving back in with his mum. Not Tim Ferry either, his man friend Matthes.

Seriously? So he IS coming to Canada? Move aside Facciotti, there's a new sheriff in town.

I wasn't stating fact, just musing, if Ferry DID go on a Leading Edge Team ride, he would be Teddy's teammate.
Sorry to mis-lead.

Ah, ok. Yeah, and with Teddy being the MX2 Champ, that team would look solid to take home both MX1 and MX2 titles.

Yeah, across town (sorta)

They've been planning to sell the house for awhile, scale back and move to a place with a better skool district

Someone insert a "gone fishing" picture. Nice one Hammer...anyways i can say that a team contacted me about getting him up there but that's as far as it's gone. It's a FAR way from happening.

I know there's some USA teams that have been sniffing around the Dog..get it..sniffing around?

I know a team up in canada would love to have a rider like Ferry, but I dont think they can afford him. If were to happen though, good for whichever team because he would be an instant favorite to win the title no doubt.

That would be cool. Seems like that team has been cursed with injuries the last few years. Same with American Honda also. MAybe all the winning they did in the 80's and 90's has caught up with them.

Klatt had no confidence in the US and rode like shit down there. Our guys are much better on their own soil, just ask Nick Wey, JT or others.

I don't think that Timmy is finished in the US at all...you can't judge a guy that badly in an injury-riddled year. He was second last year.

But if he is looking to scale back, our Canadian series is usually only 8-9 weekends out of the year. It wouldn't be any cakewalk, no National series is, but he would definitely be the favorite.

I have an insider in Canada and we were talking about the Canadian Nat rides the other day.

His explanation was that riding for a top team like Blackfoot paid about as good as a support team like BBMX, Moto Concepts ect ride here in the states. He said the other teams up there pay about the same as a Privateer racing here in the states.

all bs. aside...it's different up here and yankees have struggled. the tracks are bullshit.....and great riders like wey, hammy, jt, laughridge ect have had it tough against the top canadian guys like jsr, morgan, and facciotti. ferry's a legend but he'd lose to colt up here at this stage of his career.

Colt is really good and rides much better in Canada than in the US, but having said that... Timmy is just better.. anywhere. Thats not disrespecting Colton or Canada, or anyone... its just my opinion.
