Why don’t you do the green chameleon stuff? I bet your suspension guy has had great luck with it....

That's what Jeremy(evo) woukd like me to do. He's warned me that blue wears to gold quicker then other colors.
Idno about green
Mine is like a purple/blue color and has proven to be very durable.
Vital Mx is not safe...

How old/hours are they? Do seem to be holding up
I found Tin for 300 and DLC for 350. usually dlc is the more expensive coating and not as many places offer it..
IG @jaredkeller96
I found a UK company that did Tin for around 300 and DLC for 350 too.
Too bad that i forgot who it was and i haven't found the site again. I'm also thinking about coating my CV fork legs like Digger did his.

None of the supension companies that offer this service do it in house , its all subcontracted to coating companies that work within the Motorsport Industry in the UK. Sandwell & Co , and Oerlikon Balzer are 2 companies that deal with high level coatings for Motorsports, but they will only do B2B work, and generally dont deal with the public, so while there are a few places that actually do it , all the places offering the service will send it to the same few places. The equipment and knowledge required to do this type of work is beyond any suspension company, even the OEM stuff will be subbed out.
Thickness typically 0.004 to 0.005mm
The only exercise i get these days, is shaking my head in disbelief
Really enjoyed my blue Ti Nitride lowers.
Yea, DLC coatings (the black ones) are the best in terms of performance. Although the Ti-Nit performed awesome and they didnt show no signs of wear. I was riding the sands of the Carolina's too for comparison.
I had turquoise TiNi lowers on my A kit forks and shock shaft. It definitely wears pretty quick and is the most expensive. I would pull the dust seals off and clean/lube the seal regularly, especially after riding in sand or mud. The turquoise will wear faster than the gold TiNi. And black DLC will last forever. Gotta pony up the big bucks to have the really trick turquoise coatings that wears faster than the others.
I've looked into have Enzo do Kashima & dlc coating on my suspension. $$$. Lots of money for looks, sure it helps with wear & to reduce friction but I doubt it's something an average rider like me would benefit from. They do look killer tho!

Brutal ha... have you rode a newer 350? Nothing like the old ones.
I barely race & this bike is quickly becoming a perfect bike for me
Use thomasnet to find a supplier near you. It’s basically an Angie’s list for coatings and what not for industrial companies. Tool and die, machining etc, I just happened to find one close to me at a reasonable price. The dlc place is used by FC and Jgr in NC,
IG @jaredkeller96
There’s a dlc place 20 mins from me but they won’t touch forks as it’s a hit and miss with their process sticking to the chrome.

Can anyone tell me the thickness to color ratio?
I wanted to get blue lowers & the shop said its usually the first color to show wear.
Anyone ever have luck with blue ?
