We used to talk a lot in the race threads. I had told him if I ever made it to Hangtown I'd bring a big old Round Table pizza over to his place. He was all in cause we both dig their pies.

I passed their joint on the way to the track. Brought a lump to my throat and I ain't ashamed to admit I teared up a little. Miss ya, Scottiebro.

Seeing things that remind you of someone who has passed will always tear you up. It is a shame he had to leave but I totally understand. He was one tough dude for hanging in as long as he did.

I miss seeing him on here as well. Weird timing on seeing this thread here today. Kinda stressed out and in a haze, since my own little brother is going in for his final MRI tests on his brain. He's had issues pop back up since Christmas , that he hasn't had for 30 years. Can't get my mind off things , so took the day off and worked out for 2 hours.

I'm still saddened by it. Bummed he deleted most of his media online too. If you've ridden MX long enough you know pain is part of the game and learn how to deal with it. Unfortunately for OC it was different. This day in age I wish something more could have been done for him. Hard to grip anyone having to make that kind of decision. Given his circumstances I can understand.

Me too 11-18 I didn’t know your dob was 11-18. Scotty and I talked about 11-18 wear where you ? Sat working on bikes I checked the members commentary to get results. Then I thought who do I knew there. I,ve been to Nor Cal. Before. Then I thought of Scotty and was bummed. Remember his post about Chesapeake bay he attached from a women at the end. I was in Chesapeake bay when he did it. I thought he might be in trouble. Family member with bipolar can be stressful and cause more pain. Alice In Chains great band but very negative you can’t listened to that a lot. Miss ya Bro.

I hope so. He was obviously tough as nails and reading some of his posts when he was in pain broke my heart. I have a few older mx buddies in chairs and seeing their late night rants on FB make me feel like a little bitch for things I complain about, and give me a reality check to how good I have it.

Race day posts were always the best with Scottie, lucky enough to converse with him on occasions via chat, being on the other side of the world I was never lucky enough to meet him in person.

RIP my fellow Norcal buddy. Didn't he use to work for Vital before?
Was a mod, for like forever
