I had the 86 CR125. Really sweet bike. The suspension was awesome and It ran crisp.
Those bikes handles like gold.

And then you had the factory team line up of RJ, Bailey and O'mara that year. Solid.

I had an 87 and yes it was an incredible bike… .what I found odd is the fact that these bikes made 36hp? Surprised it was that low and when I rode it back to back with my 93 I was blown away at how much more powerthe 93 made over the 87 it was unreal and yes the suspension was unbelievable as well.

I had two CR125s of that year. Simply awesome! I then had the 87 CR500, which was amazing as well. Those were the glory days. How times have changed today. Honda also had Micky Dymond winning for them as well, and of course the 86 MXDN that year. I love these tblazier articles. Another quality read!

I had an 86 or 87 CR500.. the rubber booty over te top of the carb and the hose clamps on the frame for the shock resevoir in the pics brought back some memories. Great motor, good handling, and I only recall the suspension as decent but not great.
