You have to wonder if the engineers rode these things before they put them into production. Same thing for Honda's horrible suspension during these years. Good article!

the problem with the 91 is the pipe, porting, and power valve opening timing are all mis-matched.

I had these bikes BITD. My 1993 was as fast as anything around because it had a DGY package kit motor with IIRC a 1990 top end.
