Not saying that I wasnt before but I gotta say tho I've never seen eli this pumped after a win.
he seemed to me always kinda emotionless but this time you could tell how happy he was for that win and so was I, awesome battle in those last few laps.
He's just a simple dude out there grinding every day.
Awesome battle today!
^ this. He's just a down to earth, laid back dude who's immensely talented on a motorcycle. I think some people have interpreted that as lacking emotion in the past.
What I think was big is that, that was definitely Marvin's kind of track. And it obviously was. The first moto showed that clearly. For Eli to be there at the end of the first moto, and win the second moto shows a lot about the kind of rider Eli is. I'm definitely excited for the rest of the season, especially if Baggett can get a start with them, and Roczen can get some strength back.

That's true, reminded me of when he won Southwick 16 he actually showed some real emotion.
He was absolutely pumped on the podium. Saw him after the race at his rig chatting with his crew and you could tell how excited he was that he won that race. Saw him at the Texas Roadhouse after the race no one knew who he was or anything. Pretty cool to be able to make such an amazing living off of riding dirt bikes then be able to go into a restaurant and not get bugged by anyone.
Awesome battle today!
Kinda like winning the lottery every time he wins.
