It's probably the guy in the ESPN E60 story about James. Big James said a guy came up to him at a track in Alabama and said "Hey we don't race N word around here" and Big James said "Well that's good, we don't either, we race motorcycles"Laughing

I can't even imagine what kind of hate James and his family had to deal with growing up in the South!

Looks like dad is holding the wheel off the ground and he is going to clean the engine out. It doesnt look like they have seen that before so maybe everyone didn't rev their bike bouncing off the rev limiter on the starting line back then. Laughing

It was bubba. My friend used to race against him and thats how I got those pictures. He said as far as he can remember Bubba never wore gloves or goggles. He also said that he used to smoke everybody.Laughing

I know I have heard this as well......but James is like what in these pics above...6 - 7yrs old? He's already running the #259.

BTW.....that first shot.....totally friggin' awesome man! Cool seeing one of the worlds best when they were just kids. Impressive how far he got in all his achievements.
