Sweet. Bauer, I have a Marty Moates photo here somewhere I am going to send you, from the '78 or '79 Spanish 250cc GP when he was riding Ossa. It's amazing, and I think it was shot by Geoff Fox.

Thanks so much Steve ( and Brad Z for inviting me); that was such an epic night, and a chance to meet so many of the people who have become good friends since. Meeting Marty was a highlight, especially just hanging out after and listening to how much it meant to win the USGP and share that with his dad,many his genuine interest and enthusiasm for other people's loe of his great sport. Such and awesome guys, and sorely missed. I so wish the way to reach people in such pain was easier to see.

while marty was invited, i think steve snuck in so he could bathe in the glory of his own framed jerseys up on the walls.
