I just don't see it. I let one go in the same condition in 2018 for $2700 and they usually list for around $3500 around here.

Yeah prices are crazy and its not just bikes, Cars and houses are high also. I always wonder who is paying the high prices?

Certainly isn't me I'm usually more on the side of selling mine to pay bills.

much like dirtbikes every hobby is expensive right now.
Ive actually been buying and flipping paintball guns/equipment the past 2 years. Mainly rare or older broken high end guns. I buy cheap, fix and flip. Or sometimes just find an older working electro gun locally for $400CAD knowing I could ship it across the boarder and get $850usd for it through forums/facebook. After the currency conversion I get even more. Im not getting rich but havin fun and funding a little spending cash on moto and house things

Prices are insane right now. Been trying to find my son a 65 and they are literally selling ones with 40hrs on them for 200$ less than msrp. Going to drive 7hrs to pick one up for 800$ that’s needs a full rebuild.. I paid 3g’s for a 20year old 2stroke and that was a good deal..can’t even find a pw50 for my daughter. Luckily a friend lent me one for now.

Everything is high right now.

I’m more surprised people still use craigslist

I would be cautious about selling as the high prices could be a function of early signs of hyper-inflation (let's hope not). Sure you might sell for what you think it a good price, but measure that against what you can buy with it.

Now is the time to get rid of anything you don’t need. Like a spare bike, sell it now! Just dont go looking another one for a while.

Would be surprised if he gets asking price.
Early-mid 2000’s CR-250’s have been hot for awhile. Not that hot though. Bought an 03’ CR-250 for my son in 2006 for $2800. Sold it 12 years later for $3300. Not a bad ROI. Wish I would’ve held onto it a few years longer. Probably would’ve pulled another 1k out of it. 😀

That’s the market…I paid $4500 for an 04 time capsule with a whole slew of OEM replacement parts and I felt like throwing up when I handed the money over. These gen CRs are getting hard to find in good condition though since the metal mulisha fanboys ruined most of them about 10yrs ago.

I'm going to dust off an old mountain bike today and post it for sale while the market is hot...curious to see what I can get for an old 2007 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Pro Carbon...any ideas?

Damn, I think that I need to unload the 125 that I haven't been using. Does anyone know what a nice 2004 RM125 would go for in CA?

You can get brand new trucks cheaper than an identical used one. It doesn’t make any sense. But…this is the new world we live in, buckle up boys.

$3000+ depending on condition. An actually nice mostly original one $4500 is possible.

They seem to be rarer than CR's so you'd want to hold out for actual suzuki fans that are only looking for RMs you might even get a bidding war. There few to none listed right now.

I have a 2013 tt-r 110 that I'll be selling soon. Bet I'll get close to retail for it. New ones are $2299 plus fees. I'm going to ask for 1900 and see.

You're WAY low. Buddy of mine sold a 2004 CRF50 for $2k in an hour on Craigslist. Guy drove 2 hours to pick it up.

Ive seen one for sale near austin tx for the better part of a year that has been lowered from 6,000 to 3,300.

Ill likely never sell my 2003.

I think this entire thing is going to crumble in the next 9 months so sell your stuff for the premium while you can.

I have a 2017 Husqvarna TE 300 I’m gonna be selling in the coming weeks. It’s in nice shape, I have stock TX plastics I put on it the day I got it so I also have the stock TE plastics for it. It is mainly stock other than Pro Tune suspension, FMF Gnarly pipe, pipe guard, skid plate, rad guards, Trail Tech rad fan, bark busters, shark fin, mainly all the essentials for off-road. I was gonna post it for $5000 but I think I’m gonna try for $6000.

I probably would have agreed with the $400 estimate. Then my buddy got $700 for this 2000 Cannondale last week. And it’s 7 years older than that Stumpjumper. Unreal!
