I have mixed feelings about the direction it’s gone in the last 10-15 years but I still love the place.
Just a rumor I heard so take it with a grain of salt but ray may run it the other direction next year which would be killer!
Anyway, LACR for me.

From my first race on an 83 RM60 in 85 until it closed in 95, I never missed a race at Maplehurst in Spring Grove, IL . Our family were part of the club that put on the races so also rode there a couple times a month outside of the races.
Then from 94 to 04 I rarely missed a race at Aztalan in WI. Absolutely loved that track! Probably spun more laps there just based on running 2 or 3 classes per race day. Spent a bunch of time at the Denmark WI track too in that time, but not nearly as much as Azzie. I haven't been back since 14, need to get back up there sometime...
I broke my leg pretty bad at Byron in 05, then took up Supermoto From 06-10 time was spent at the Road America Kart track. Lately have been bouncing around various IL track like Byron, Mt Carroll, Sunset Ridge, KI, Joliet, Fox Valley, and Muddy Waters without any 1 main track.
Chippenham is the same now lost all the depth
Edit: Just checked their website. This was news to me. Must have happened recently?
Old news bro. Hope somebody buys it! I rode there earlier this year it was really fun.

Same layout and jumps since the 70's. Just grass roots old school motocross, with some opportunities to make some small jumps into some big jumps for us faster guys.
Close Second would be Thunder Valley in Lakewood, CO, we should all be familiar with that place, spent a lot of time there on 50's, 65's and my first year on 85's.
Post a reply to: Thinking Back, Which Track, In Your Lifetime, Have You Spun The Most Laps Upon ? *Is the track still active ?
