The future is looking brighter all the time. I know this isn't moto, but the advances we've seen in the last two years in this field have been remarkable.

I wonder if the 30 miles per charge has changed?

Over 100 MPH and over 100 Miles to the charge for that bad boy.

It's not superbike performance, but they've moved beyond the scooter category for sure.

That one's a little pricier. The Brammo lists at $9,995. I don't think Mr. Czysz has starting selling his yet.

With the rebates for electric vehicles the Brammo comes in for less money than an SV650 in some states.

Like the cars, it's probably not economically affordable anyway.

AWESOME toy to ride back and forth to work on! I'd NEVER buy gas again(at least to go to work).

The automotive world is already working on the next battery to replace Lithium ion. It's just a matter of time.

The C1 is only $100,000, I'm sure the Ep1c will be $9,995 too.

I don't know I've been following Czysz's project(s) since he wanted to create an 800cc MotoGP bike. If he can bring the technology of that bike into the market for 10G it would be an incredible feat.

It will be at least $50,000, maybe 100

My 450 gets 40 MPG in the woods, and probably 20 on a track. I will pass on the electricity

I would rather pay for gas than have to listen to silence. Half the fun of riding a badass bike like those is being able to hear it when you rip the throttle open.

I would rather be able to ride a track inside the city than have more tracks shut down because of noise.

The latest version has linkage.
I don't think Czysz intends to market the bike, just the technology.

Temporary noise is cool for enthusiasts, but even temporary noise sucks for everyone else.

A handful of obnoxious 250F's with a blown out mufflers bouncing off their rev limiters will get a riding area shut down 100 times faster than a whole trainload of electric MX bikes would.

I know we all think electric is the way of the future right now but I would much rather have Michael Czysz' first creation than this one.It looked similar but was so much different and better.

This is the dumbest thing ever. Seriously? 100 miles per charge? No thanks. You think riding a street bike is dangerous now? Lets make it so you can't even hear them and see how many people get ran over. If you don't like the sound of a 2 stroke or 4 stroke on the pipe, stay away from motorcycles!

Is the enjoyment you get from you hearing it or your neighbors hearing it? I sometimes wonder.

I would love to have one of those bikes to ride back and forth to work. I currently ride my bike back and forth to work because it's a hell of a lot cheaper (and more fun) to ride than to drive my 4x4 . The electric bike would be even cheaper to ride depending on upkeep costs (replacement batteries, etc). My problem is that I work at two different locations, one is 60 miles round trip and the other is 100 miles round trip. I guess I could take the electric if I am going to the closer location and take the gas when going to the farther location. Almost need a hybrid so you aren't stranded when the batteries die.

I told my neighbor that so he had someone come and take my motorcycles away.

yep elec bikes will open up all sorts of riding next to (insert where ever you like) and not have noise issues.

This bike makes 200 foot pounds of torque and will go 165 mph. It is neither slow nor, boring. Most of the little punk sport bike riders aren't riding more than a hundred miles in a day anyway. The price is the only hold up. I think it would be even more fun to sneak up on Johnny Road Racer with his full leather get up and blast past him on an electric bike than it is to pass 'em on a dual sport bike. Bunch of posers.
