Thin vs thick grips?

Another Emig vote! And I'm super picky.
Always used to use half waffle medium Renthals, came back to riding and lock-ons were everywhere, never liked them on MTBs, but didn't want to get a new throttle tube so tried lock-on half waffles, bit chunky for my liking and couldn't get into them, tried the Emigs and the V2 Emigs and they're both near perfect plus it's a support-worthy collab.
