He mentioned that people had written him off. When guys say that, it is usually reflected by what is written on here. I don't think many would have said that Wilson was no chance at winning the SX title, and most would have said he was one of the favourites. Who actually wrote Wilson off ??

So it's not ok to cry over heat race but it's ok to cry over a Main.

What's your theory on the hole shot?

Can you cry over winning a car?

What if you find out your wife use to be a man?

Your Father was once a woman?

Dudes, he held it together waaayyyy better than Mikey.

He has been nothing but injured and trying to build himself back up for 2 years. After that outdoor title you would figure skies the limit but shit went south for him. Hope he stays healthy and back on his way up.

I just dropped a deuce and shed a tear. It wasn't an ordinary deuce it had been with me for a while, ask anyone. There's nothing like dropping that special deuce.

I almost feel like the air has been cleared.

I'd like to thank indoor plumbing, toilet paper, air freshiner and most of all my family for supporting me the entire time.

Chad Reed was practically crying a couple weeks back over his win. I don't blame them to be honest. Imagine how happy you would feel winning even a single race (heat or main event) against some of the best guys on the planet. The guys who win a lot would get used to it and not feel so emotional. But for many of the other riders, it could feel like an impossibility to get a race win. With how hard they train to win these races, it's great to see them show how much it means to them.

Dean Wilson is still young and surely has a lot of wins ahead of him. But it's good to see a guy that passionate about what he is doing. That sort of passion to win pushes guys to go beyond their limits to keep winning.

if more people criticizing Dean for crying understood how hard he has had to work, along with all the emotions he has gone through the past twelve months due to injury, it might just provide some valuable insight.

I think it's ridiculous how easily people in the motocross industry write people off.

Pretty sure I read an interview with Wilson in a magazine, where he mentioned, (pretty much goes for many others too), that when you're on top, you have many friends... You have some misfortune, you all of a sudden, don't have any friends.

In which is a hell of accomplishment for any rider in our sport. A one hell of a big deal for Alessi. So is it less for Alessi and heat win vs. Deano and main win? There is no less or more. Each is unique for each rider.
