Can't help but notice that if you get punted in the final corner you are right out into oncoming traffic, again.

Miami is actually mud. Humans bring the sand back in to the coastline as it washes away.

Tampa is the opposite: naturally filling up with sand, and they have to dig it out and dump it on things like sx courses.

I was watching an old supercross from the early 90s or late 80s on Youtube the other day and it was all sand. It was awesome!

Not necessarily, riders will make more mistakes, but perhaps the difficulty will stop the bigger jumps & higher speeds within the section.
